Regulation adopted on increased cooperation between competent national authorities to ensure consumer rights are respected

Brussels, 12/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Council adopted (without debate) the regulation to strengthen cooperation between the national authorities in charge of Community legislation on consumer protection. The political agreement was reached in the first reading between the Council and Commission had allowed for the formal adoption of the regulation on 7 October.
