ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) chemicals

The Belgian group UCB is to sell its glues and coatings activities to the American chemicals company CYTEC INDUSTRIES (turnover of 1.5 billion EUR in 2003 with 4,500 employees). These activities represent a turnover of 1.1 billion EUR in 2003, with 2,900 employees. This operation will allow CYTEC INDUSTRIES to double in size.
