Rise in industrial production price of 0.4% in Euro-zone and 0.5% in EU 25

Brussels, 05/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - August 2004 estimates illustrate an increase in industrial production prices compared to July. 0.4% in the Euro-zone and 0.5% in the EU 25. Compared to August 2003, prices rose respectively by 3.1% and 3.6%. compared to July 2004, energy prices experiences sharp rises with 1.4% in the Euro-zone and 1.8% in the EU25. Countries experiencing the highest rises were Hungary (+1.3%) and the United Kingdom (+1.1%), whereas the only reduction was in Ireland...
