Brussels, 22/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commissioner designate for Trade, the Briton Peter Mandelson, has set himself the "main objective" of completing the Doha negotiation round (WTO) as soon as possible, "but I will not sacrifice the substance for speed", he said in his answers to written questions from members of the committee on external trade of the EP (the oral hearing is planned for 4 October).
