22/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - Forza Italia MEP Mario Mauro, vice president of the European Parliament met the Commissioner-elect for culture and education Jan Figel and according to a press statement provided assurances that they would make sure that ongoing budgetary procedure would begin to help towards reaching the objectives that have been set out. Mauro declared that in the global economy, the role of human resources for increasing competitiveness could never be stressed enough.
