European Parliament to approve tuna fish protocols on 16 September

Brussels, 09/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - On 16 September the European Parliament is expected to approve proposals on fishing possibilities for EU boats as part of bilateral agreement with Mauritius, Madagascar, Cap Verde (three reports from Phillipe Morillon, France (EPP-ED).

Mauritius: this new protocol for fishing between the EU and the island covers 3 December 2003 to 2 December 2007. Fishing possibilities are as follows: 41 tuna seiners (16 boats for France, 22 Spanish, 7 Portuguese and...
