Commissioners Lamy and Nielson go to Fiji for opening of trade negotiations between the EU and the Pacific Region of ACP group on 10 September

Brussels, 09/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - This Friday 10 September, trade negotiations between the EU and the 14 small island states of the Pacific Region which are members of the ACP group (Africa/Caribbean/Pacific) and linked to the EU by the Cotonou Agreement (see EUROPE of 4 September, p.10) will open in Nadi, Fiji.
