Brussels, 26/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - Three European Christian organisations which are very active in combating trafficking in human beings have welcomed the draft convention of the Council of Europe on that theme. The Churches' Commission for Migrants in Europe (CCME), the Conference of European Churches (CEC) and Caritas Europa put particular emphasis on the rights of the victims and are appealing for greater cooperation between governments and non-governmental organisations.
