Dutch EU Presidency reacts to assassination of Bulgarian hostage

Brussels, 15.07.2004 (Agence Europe) - Speaking on Wednesday in his capacity as President of the EU Council, the Dutch Foreign Minister, Bernard Bot, said he was horrified at the report of the brutal murder of a Bulgarian civilian, Georgi Lazov, in Iraq. he expressed his sincere condolences to Mr Lazov's relatives.
