ACP States hopes to promote Mauritius-based common G90 platform to help multilateral negotiations along

Brussels, 07/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Trade Ministers of the 79 ACP countries (Africa/Caribbean/Pacific) met in Mauritius from 9 to 11 July to reach a common position ahead of preparations for the meeting of the WTO General Council (27-29 July in Geneva). The ACP group's position will feed into the creation of a joint platform for all the "G90" countries whose Trade Ministers will meet in Mauritius on 12 and 13 July.
