05/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - Czech president, Vaclav Klaus, has called on the minister of the interior, Stanislav Gross, to form the new Czech government, following the resignation of the prime minister, Vladimir Spidla. The latter decided to resign as head of the government, following his defeat in the European elections when his party the CSSD managed to obtain only 8.7% of the vote.
