Wolfgang Tiefensee welcomed greater role given to local and regional authorities

Brussels, 28/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - Mayor of Leipzig (Germany) and President of European association Eurocities Wolfgang Tiefensee has welcomed in a press release the adoption of the European Constitution. The text boosts the position of local and regional authorities in the enlarged Europe, along with subsidiarity, explains Tiefensee, describing this as a huge success.
