17/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday Javier Solana, High Representative of the EU for CFSP, welcomed the proposal to appoint the Danish diplomat Soeren Jessen-Petersen to the post of UN Special Representative for Kosovo. Jessen-Petersen, currently the EU's special representative to Macedonia, will take over from the Finn Harri Holkeri, who has stepped down for health reasons.
