Seminar on state aid for the regions highlights need for post-2006 state aid policy to vary according to the region in question

Brussels, 11/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - The seminar on state aid and regional policy organised in Brussels on 9 June by the Conference of Maritime Peripheral Regions (CMPR) and the Regional Development Agency Network Eurada, examined the issue of state aid for the regions, the future of horizontal systems (transport, research, the environment and SMEs) and small scale state aid that has little impact on intra-Community trade.
