- USA: according to the Bloomberg agency, the New York Stock Exchange doubled its net profits in 2003. The president of the stock exchange John Thain revealed profits of USD 50 million. - Asia: according to the Business Times, SINGAPORE EXCHANGE and KUALA LUMPUR STOCK EXCHANGE may be merging which would allow their companies that are quoted to be traded in both places and allow for their delivery regulation systems to be harmonised.
