Europeans seek to bring Sharon Plan back to Roadmap and condemn assassination of Hamas leaders - Javier Solana in Washington and New York on Tuesday and Wednesday

Tullamore / Brussels, 19/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday and Wednesday, CFSP High Representative Javier Solana is to meet Secretary of State Colin Powell in Washington, as well as Condoleeza Rice and Vice President Dick Cheney. He is also to hold discussions with UN Secretary General Kofi Annan. Meetings will prepare the Quartet meeting (USA, EU, UN and Russia) on the Middle East, which should finally be held on 4 May in New York. Europeans hope that the Sharon Plan, approved last week...
