19/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - Ahead of Wednesday's Agriculture Council, Paolo Bedonia, Presdinet of Coldiretti, wants the olive oil and tobacco reforms to be concluded before enlargement of the EU to new countries, noting in a press release that enlargement would have inevitable conseauences on negotiations which essentially concern the Mediterreanean coutnreis. Bedoni says Italy is the second greatest prodcuer of olive oil in the EU, noted Bedoni, and the greatest producer of tobacco.
