6th ASEM ministerial meeting, in Dublin, 17 and 18 April

Brussels, 16/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - On 17 and 18 April, President of the Council, Brian Cowen, welcomes to Dublin the 6th ASEM Foreign Ministers' meeting, the forum of political and economic dialogue between Asia and Europe created in 1996. Foreign ministers from Brunei, China, Indonesia, Japan Korea, Malaysia, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam will participate in this event and several of them will also have bilateral contacts with the European Union troika.
