Brussels, 26/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - In the perspective of Swiss pharmaceutical group, Novartis' take-over bid of its French counterpart Aventis, the European Commission will be examining the competition consequences, as the combined turnover of the two companies will reach the minimum threshold set on competency in these matters, indicated Amelia Torres, spokesperson of Commissioner Monti.
