Euro-zone Finance ministers choose Spaniard Gonzalez-Paramo to ECB board - Rato losing sight of IMF presidency

Brussels, 26/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - Ministers of the Economy and Finance in the Euro zone decided on Thursday evening in Brussels to put forward Spaniard José Manuel Gonzalez-Paramo from the Bank of Spain's board of governors as a successor to his compatriot Eugenio Domingo Solans at the European Central Bank directory.
