OLAF defends searches carried out at Stern offices and believes it has only fulfilled its duty seeking information

Brussels, 23/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday in a statement to the press, Alberto Perduca, Head of investigations at the European Union's anti-fraud office (OLAF) explained that OLAF had met its obligation of sending the relevant national authorities information pertaining to the facts it had obtained in an internal enquiry ( in the Tillach affair) that is likely to lead to criminal proceedings.
