Brussels, 12/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - The new genetic applications and access to healthcare is the theme of a conference jointly organised by the European Commission and the Socialist Mutual Health Fund of Belgium (UNMS) and the International Association of Mutual Health Funds (AIM) on 24 and 25 March at the Borschette Centre in Brussels. Speakers will include Commissioner Philippe Busquin, British Labour MEP Eryl McNally, Belgian Social Affairs Minister Rudy Demotte, Belgian Senator Philippe Mahoux, Italian Bioethics Professor Emilio Mordini and Michel Hasselmann, Professor of Medical Resuscitation at the University Hospital Centre of Strasbourg.
