12/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Competitiveness Council has formally adopted the three texts (one regulation and two directives) of the revision of the European pharmaceutical legislation and the modification of the 2001 directive on traditional plant-based medicines. The European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) has welcomed the definitive adoption of this package, and hopes for an immediate and effective application of the new rules.
