Others might include former prime ministers from Greece, Costas Simitis, Portugal, Antonio Guterres and the Netherlands, Wim Kok, he added. Asked whether the president of the parliament, Pat Cox, would be a good European Commissioner, Baron replied in the affirmative, adding that his Liberal colleague was also a "good communicator".
