03/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - In Brussels on Tuesday, the Council of the EU formally adopted the directive establishing quality and safety standards for all operations concerning human cells and tissues. The European Parliament rapporteur, German Christian Democrat Peter Liese and Commissioner David Byrne welcomed the conclusion of this procedure.
