FERPA calls on European political parties to take into account rights and expectations of elderly and retired

Brussels, 02/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - With a number of weeks to go before the June elections 2004, the European Federation of Retired and Elderly People (FERPA, affiliated to the European Confederation of Trade Unions ETUC) sent a message to the European political parties, calling on them to take into account, in their electoral programmes, "the rights and expectations of 80 million elderly and retired people in the EU-25".
