Austria limits access to its job market - New Member States relieved by London's decision to open work market, notwithstanding planned restrictions

Brussels, 25/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - As part of the debate on the opening of the Member States' job markets to workers from the new Member States as of 1 May, the Austrian government has decided to restrict access to its job market to nationals of these countries entering Austria after this date, except Malta and Cyprus.
