18/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission will pronounce itself no later than 16 March on the takeover of the television channel M6 by the RTL Group, a subsidiary of Bertelsmann. RTL Group shared control of M6 with the Suez Group until the beginning of the month. Suez having sold 29.2% of its 34.2% stake in the French channel on the stock exchange or to institutional investors, RTL group became the only reference shareholder.
