EU and United States condemn violent demonstrations in Albania

Brussels, 09/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Sunday, the European Union and the United States condemned violent demonstrations by the Albanian opposition in Tirana on Thursday. 4,000 member of the opposition democratic party called for the resignation of Prime Minister Fatos Nano, and spoke out against increases in electricity prices.
