DEUTSCHE TELEKOM has made a EUR 1 billion cash bid for the 51% stake in the biggest Polish mobile phone operator, PTC, held by VIVENDI UNIVERSAL (France) and ELEKTRIM (Poland). DEUTSCHE TELEKOM already owns the remaining 49%.
