07/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - Turkish President Ahmed Necdet Sezer has given final approval for a package of reforms adopted last week by the Turkish Parliament. These reforms, welcomed by European commissioner Günter Verheugen is particularly expected to reduce the intervention of the Turkish army in politics.
