07/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen speaking on Danish television on Wednesday believed that it was possible that his country would hold a referendum in 2004 on the European constitutional treaty. Mr Rasmussen explained that his government would be deciding whether it would at the same time be consulting the Danish people on the scrapping of the "opt outs" enjoyed by their country (in defence, currency and home affairs).
