09/07/2003 (Agence Europe) -Lista Bonino MEP Maurizio Turco has submitted a question to the Commission and the Council about Italy's application of the 2000 Directive against discrimination at work on the grounds of religion, personal beliefs, disabilities, age or sexual orientation. The Radical Italian MEP is concerned that the Buttiglione/Maroni decree contravenes the spirit and the letter of the Directive in terms of religion and sexual orientation.
