03/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - During its meeting on Tuesday, the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health gave an overview on the end to the avian influenza outbreak in the Netherlands and has therefore decided not to extend restriction measures imposed in certain regions of the centre and south of the country. These measures will automatically be lifted on 11 July, except in the surveillance zones.
