Committee on Culture demands complete revision of "Television without borders" directive - and regulation on media ownership to guarantee pluralism

Brussels, 18/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - In its adoption of British Conservative Roy Perry's own-initiative report, the EP committee on culture, chaired by Michel Rocard has demanded complete revision of the 1989 "Television without borders" directive, to take account of progress in technology and structural changes on the audiovisual market, states a press release.
