OMV authorised to acquire some of BP's oil business

Brussels, 13/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of part of the oil business of BP Plc in southern Germany by the Austrian company OMV Aktiengesellschaft. The OMV group is active in the production, refining and distribution of mineral oil products, including service stations, chemical industry and natural gas. BP is a multinational petroleum and petrochemicals group. The acquisition mainly concerns a number of BP service stations in southern Germany...
