Brussels, 13/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's economic and monetary committee has brought a series of amendments to the Council's common position on the "prospectus" directive, by adopting the report by Chris Hune (Liberal, UK) by 26 votes in favour, 6 against and one abstention. This directive will allow companies to supply a single financial information document, valid throughout the EU, when bonds or take-over bids are issued on European stock exchanges.
