Signing of new scientific agreement with Israel

Brussels, 10/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday in Brussels, Commissioner Philippe Busquin and the Greek Minister of Development, Apostolos-Athanasios Tsochatzopoulos singed a new scientific cooperation agreement with the Israeli Minister for Science, Eliezer Zandberg.. This will allow Israel to take part in research programmes in the 6th FPRD (2003-06). Israel will not be taking part in the Euratom part of the Community research, will provide a contribution of EUR 192 million.
