Council adopts "package" authorising Commission to negotiate air agreements with United States and other third countries

Luxembourg, 05/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the Transport Council unanimously gave a mandate to the European Commission for negotiation with the United States on the creation of an "open airspace" to replace the eleven bilateral open skies agreements signed by Member States.
