GUE/NGL would have liked to discuss guidelines for employment from May session on

Strasbourg, 14/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday morning, the EP will discuss the report by José Garcia-Margallo on the broad economic policy guidelines from 2003 to 2005. Discussion was also to cover the report by Hermann Schmid, Swedish elected member of the European United Left/Nordic Greens Left Group, on guidelines for employment. But this will not be the case, and the Council will discuss this matter on 3 June without having officially heard the Parliament's position. Mr Schmid...
