Loyola de Palacio hopes to reactivate discussion on air agreement between EU and Morocco and intensify work on regional electricity and gas market at Euro-Maghreb level

Brussels, 10/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - During a visit to Morocco on 6 and 7 March, Loyola de Palacio, European Commission Vice-President responsible for transport and energy, mainly discussed maritime safety in the light of Morocco's commitment to be involved in the recent EU initiatives following the Prestige disaster. Among others, she met Prime Minister Driss Jettou, and Energy Minister Mohamed Boutaleb, Transport Minister Karim Ghellab, and Minister for Industry and Telecommunications...
