04/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - According to the compromise reached in Brussels on 3 March by the Competitiveness Council, the language regime for the future Community patent will be as follows: claims will be lodged in one of the three official languages of the European Patents' Office (English, German or French), then translated into the office's two other languages.
