04/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - The council of 27-28 February has adopted without debate, conclusions recognising Astana as the capital of Kazakhstan. In order for the EU to be represented there, the Council has called on the government of the republic to provide the European Commission and Member States with the information necessary for relocating there missions, currently at Almaty to Astana.
