03/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - Last week, the Commission approved three regulations on implementing the Penalties Committee's decisions to add new names to the European list of terrorists connected with Al Qaida, namely Gulbuddin Hekmatyar (Afghanistan, see Official Journal L49), the Ansar al-Islam group based in North-East Iraq (also known as the Kurdistan Talibans, see OJ L51) and the group Lajnat Al Daawa Al Islamiya (OJ L53).
