Commission clears TotalFinaElf's acquisition of UK gas supply business of Mobil Gas Limited

Brussels, 03/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted regulatory approval to TotalFinaElf's acquisition of Mobil Gas' UK gas supply business. The Commission comments that the transaction will to a limited extent influence competition on the market for supply of gas to large industrial and commercial customers and customers of interruptible gas (gas supplied to large customers which unlike customers of the other markets, are prepared to incur interruptions to their supply...
