Brussels, 18/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The President of the European Commission, Romano Prodi, opened an internet chat last Tuesday to discuss the future Constitution of Europe with the public. On the basis of the document "Penelope" (see EUROPE Documents No. 2312 of 4 February 2003), the public can now give its opinions on subjects such as democracy, justice and monetary policy. President Prodi himself and experts involved with the drafting of the future Constitution will take part in this on-line exchange of opinion, answering the citizens' questions and comments.
