Brussels, 18/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - Concerned by the green light given by the European Commission last October to the Italian government to grant 74.5 million euros in aid to Fibre Ottiche Sud (Battipaglia, near Naples), a subsidiary of the Italian Pirelli group, MEP Chris Huhne (Liberal Democrat, UK) has accused Pirelli in a press release, and after inquiry, of having received unfair subsidies from the Italian government of nearly £50m to transfer over 300 jobs from the Eastleigh...
