Brussels, 10/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition by Greek telecom equipment maker Intracom SA of a 41-percent stake in rival company Siemens Tele Industry (STI), which is currently controlled by Germany's Siemens AG. Under the terms of the agreement Intracom and Siemens will have joint control of the company.
