Green light to acquisition of Lesieur by Saipol (edible oils sector)

Brussels, 31/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised Saipo to acquire Lesieur (fully owned by Céréol, part of the Bunge group) and Soprol (Sofiprotéol group). Lesieur refines and markets edible oils while Saipol has a strong upstream presence in the French edible oils industry (pressing, refining).
