22/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - According to the Italina press agency ANSA, the Italian doctor Giorgio Calabrese declared at in a backdrop to Management committee meeting of the European Food Safety Agency that a letter would be sent to the President of the European Council, Costas Simitis, requesting that the next EU Summit finally takes a decision on the definitive Headquarters of the Agency. The agency has provisionally set up in Brussels, given the inability of Heads of State and Governments to decide between the two candidate cities, Helsinki and Parma. According to ANSA, Giorgio Calabrese declared that, "We are in a crisis because are expected to employ scientists without telling them where they are going to work".
